Beanery Breeders, Waders

[Green Heron (left) and Black-crowned Night-Heron (right), seen today at the Beanery/Rea Farm. Photos by Karl Lukens.]

"CMBO Walk - Breeding Birds at the Rea Farm. Once again the Indigo Buntings and a Blue Grosbeak showed up at the parking lot before we started the walk. Later we heard a Yellow-breasted Chat, had good views of Black-crowned Night-Heron, and Green Herons, and a close up view of Glossy Ibis. An Empidonax flycatcher confirmed our assessment as a Willow Flycatcher by singing as we left the area "he" was patrolling."
