Glaucous Gull at The Meadows; Higbee Notes

[Glaucous Gull at the South Cape May Meadows on Friday.]

Karl Lukens reports that the Glaucous Gull pictured above was lounging around the South Cape May Meadows for a while yesterday. I received no further updates of the Say's Phoebe after Friday morning, but it is worth noting that the Black-necked Stilt continued to be seen yesterday in the Meadows "plover pond."

Also:
"CMBO Higbee Walk. Cloudy and cool with numerous Carolina Wrens and mosquitoes! A few warblers were around with several Prairies heard and a couple of Northern Parulas seen well. The Chat was seen well after the walk but only heard during the walk. Raptors included a couple of Kestrels and Sharp-shins and a Merlin. A singing adult male Orchard Oriole was nice. Two Wild Turkeys were seen in a field by a few while driving on New England Rd."
