Baird's Sandpiper photo

Karl Lukens forwarded along this photo of the Baird's Sandpiper that was seen yesterday afternoon at the State Park. As far as I know there have been no further reports of this individual, but Baird's is a species that is increasingly likely to appear through the month in spots such as Bunker Pond and the Meadows. Baird's seems to prefer drier mudflats, often with short grass, and are actually somewhat reliable at the Johnson Sod Farm in Cumberland County around Labor Day weekend.
