A Meadows walk for only the bravest (or is that craziest?) of birders

A soggy and wind-bitten Lukens duo sent along the following summary of this morning's shortened walk at the South Cape May Meadows, which ended up being coupled with some seawatching from the Sunset Grill at Sunset Beach:

"The CMBO Pete Dunne Meadow Walk and a few brave folks, lasted about 1 hour before we retired to the Concrete Ship and the Sunset Grill Porch to do some sea watching in the "Nor'easter" with stinging rain and 30-40 mph winds. Actually not bad at either location with a White-rumped Sandpiper and Lesser Black-backed Gull at the Meadow and lots of terns and shorebirds at the concrete ship including 4 fly-by Red Knots."
